Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time of celebration when family and friends come to together to give thanks for the life of plenty. Of course, a Thanksgiving meal is not complete without classic holiday food like pumpkin pie and roast turkey. In the USA alone 51 million turkeys are consumed around the country on Thanksgiving.
For some Thanksgiving is a time of prayer and reflection on the past year. For others it is a time of shared meals, board games and happy times with family and friends. Thanksgiving also happens to be a great weekend for NRL football, giving us something to watch on TV while we digest all that delicious holiday fare.
And let’s not forget the important shopping dates Black Friday and Cyber Monday that immediately follow the country’s favorite holiday, Thanksgiving.
