  1. safeway is a very clean store,and I always enjoy shoping there. they have the best bakery,and produce.

  2. I enjoy shopping at Safeway and using the gas points has really helped on long trips, I just wish they had a gas affiliation in Canon City! I like the fact that if I just need milk I don’t have to go clear back to the far corner to get it. The people are always friendly and helpful. The store is smaller and I can run in and out quickly when I am in a hurry.

  3. I have been shopping in the Pueblo West Safeway for a longtime.. and I am completely fedup with the lack of cashiers at any given time. They have express lanes but the customers can’t even use them because there are no cashiers in the regular lanes to check out customers that have more than 15 to 20 items. so you can go and wait in the express lane but it still takes forever because of the lack of checkers, and this is an on going problem, the customer service desk is also a nightmare you can stand there and wait for 5 to 10 minutes while the checkers and management look at you and don’t help.. Poor Poor management. and with Wal-mart very close , I will not mess with the lines again. Wal-mart wants to have customers!!!! So, they give good customer service.

  4. I love shopping at safe way everyone is nice. The merchandise is inexpensive and you Always get a additional discount with the club card. Love Safeway. I recommend this store to everyone.

  6. My favorite Safeway store is located at NE 122nd Ave. & Glisan St. in Portland, Oregon. The staff and employees are respectful and ready to help with a smile. The store is always clean and the fruits and vegetables are fresh. The deli section has good food and the Chinese cuisine is always replenished with fresh food.

  7. compare walmart to safeway..what’s with that??? anyway safeway has good sale prices, it’s clean. has great produce and a bakery one could die for…all in all a better than good place to shop in….

  8. Shop on a regular basis at Portland, Oregon Sandy Boulevard and 72nd. Ave, Safeway store. I just live a few blocks away, so store is very convenient. The people who work at the store are an asset. Always helpful and plesant to talk to. Prices good, great in-store bakery and butcher shop, produce is fresh, and the checkers always leave me with a laugh. Thanks.

  9. My name is Gerard Berk in Boulder CO. I have shopped at the 30th & Arapahoe store for years but lately I have received a lot of help from 2 employees in particular – Jack (head cashier) and Dowell. They go out of their way to insure I get the products I need and are always willing to assist in getting my order into my car. These 2 gentlemen deserve special recognition for their excellent customer service.

  10. I live in Fallon, Nevada and used to shop at Safeway. The Fallon store is a disgrace. It is the worst managed grocery I have ever seen. It is unclean, the produce is not often priced, the checkout stand often misprice merchandise, and when lines to checkout become very long help is very slow in coming, and I find your products consistently high priced.
    As a result we often travel 24 miles to Fernley where we can shop at a clean and fair priced Scolari market

    what Safeway Corporate needs to work on, is me being able to take the damn survey! have wasted an hour now, and cannot get linked into the survey! Seems I keep being linked into a comment section, but the survey section keeps linking to a “page can not be displayed” page? priorities management!!! yes?

  12. I just wanted to take a moment and share my experience in my local Tillamook OR Safeway. Last Friday the 22nd I ran in on my lunch needing only a few items. I got behind a gentleman in a power chair that could not stand and was having trouble with his pin number. The checker-Charmion was very patient with him, as he was obviously confused. The young lady that was bagging groceries-Cathy even asked him if they were talking to fast and would a piece of paper and pen help him. Finally they had to have him go to the customer service desk where-Lisa stepped up to help him. My checker thanked me for my patience, which I really had not been feeling, as I was on my lunch and in a hurry until I saw how kind and compassionate these employees treated this man. My checker was visibly upset for the customer and commented to me that his groceries were only $10.00 and if she had the money in her pocket she would have just paid his bill for him. This is where the pay it forward from their actions made me decide to go to the gentleman and pay for his groceries. We are all busy and love to make aware are complaints if we receive poor customer service, but these ladies renewed my faith and deserved to be recognized for the excellent customer service they provided.
